*Our next Community Forum Meeting will be held in DECEMBER 2021*
After a suggestion at our meeting in October 2021, Parent's Forum will henceforth be known as Community Forum. This is to better reflect the changes to the Terms of Reference and membership of the group, which now allows us to incorporate membership of School Governors and other stakeholders from the local community.
At Manor Primary, we are very proud to have a Community Forum. The purpose of the Forum is to enhance communication between parents/carers and the school. It provides an opportunity for parents to meet with staff, to comment on their impressions of the quality of education provided, to make suggestions for improvement and to comment upon proposed changes within school.
The Community Forum is currently held half-termly, and is supported by Mrs Rogers. All members of the parent/carer community are invited, and everyone is encouraged to put forward items for the agenda prior to the meeting. It is not a formal meeting, and in no way are you obliged to attend each and every one, however we do elect a chairperson each year to ensure that the Forum is kept ‘on topic’.
