Robins and Ducklings have had a very exciting day at Conkers. It's funny that Ducklings went, as it has been good weather for ducks! The weather was definitely not on our side for the visit, with lots of heavy, prolonged spells of rain. However, the children didn't let the weather dampen their spirits, and they had a thoroughly enjoyable time. We started off by going on the train, before having a woodland walk to look at the trees and think about how they can be used. The afternoon was taken up with lunch, playing and visiting the shop - the three things the majority of children asked about during the morning! Shopping with twenty five four and five year olds is interesting. The toll on the adults can be seen in the photograph of Mfs Perry! Joking aside, the children were all wonderful, being a credit to the school and you, the parents and carers. This was demonstrated when they all said thank you to the coach driver as they got off the coach at the end of a very busy and enjoyable day. Robins staff would also like to say a big thank you to the parents who were kind enough to give up their time to help us out - thank you! Well done, Ducklings and Robin's - you're amazing!
