Gruffalo Crumble!
Robins and Ducklings have had a super time with all of their learning and activities relating to the brilliant Julia Donaldson story, The Gruffalo. Amongst all of the activities, there have been a couple of opportunities to prepare food. The children had great fun making their own Gruffalo crumble - it was very messy, and the final crumble was decidedly sticky, but also very tasty! The following week, the children had the opportunity to make Gruffalo fox sandwiches. The finished products looked good enough to eat - which is, in fact, exactly what happened. The sandwiches were created with a combination of bread, cream cheese, cheese slices, olives and cucumber. Well done everyone!
