We are Designers and Technologists......
Swans Class have had an exciting DT unit investigating, designing, creating and making their own Christmas decorations.
They investigated a range current Christmas decorations and discussed their own ideas with their peers. They then carefully designed, made and evaluated their decorations.

Owls Class have had a great time designing, creating and evaluating their own pencil cases!
Children began by investigating a range of existing pencil case designs as well being taught different sewing techniques. They then designed some prototypes using paper and basic sewing skills before refining their designs and creating their pencil cases from felt and buttons with other materials for embellishment.

Penguins Class have had lots of fun investigating, designing, creating and making their own Fairground Rides.
They; investigated a range of existing fairground rides and how they moved, investigated ways of using electrical motors applying the Science knowledge tto create rotating parts, created prototypes to investigate stable frameworks, designed, made and evaluated its fairground ride.
They even invited Owls class to join in the fun and offer feedback on their designs.
