Extras

Beyond the scheme of work in KS2 we also encourage the introduction of French (and other languages) from Nursery to Year 6. This is most often as part of a daily routine such as taking a register in French or singing a French song. We also aim to use some of the French taught in KS2 lessons throughout the week at opportunities such as before playtime or during register to develop recall. These extras are a fun way of building confidence from an early age.

For this school year (2023-2024) we will be following Cycle B of our curriculum. 

** Please note** We are in a transition period until the end of the academic year, so some units may be taught out of order to ensure full coverage over the two-year cycle.
